ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity now buy directly from Shopify. Stores they can read get recommended. The rest get skipped — and never find out. Sixty seconds tells you which one you are.
The shift
Shopify turned every store into an API for AI shoppers.
Every Shopify store now exposes an MCP endpoint
Shopify ships a Storefront MCP server per store — the standard interface AI agents use to search your catalog, manage carts, and read your policies. It exists whether or not you've configured what it says.

Shopify's Global Catalog lets agents search the whole ecosystem and route buyers to specific stores. Being readable is what gets a store into that answer.

The protocol exposes live pricing, availability, and policy tools. Agents check them mid-conversation — a store that answers badly gets quietly replaced by one that answers well.
Shopify docs: Storefront MCP server tools ↗The interface
One endpoint decides if you get recommended.
This is the actual shape of an AI purchase: an agent, a buyer question, your store’s MCP endpoint, and the knowledge behind it. Trace any node — the amber side is what we configure.
The proof
See what agents see. Right now.
We query your live MCP endpoint, catalog API, and product schema, then score what comes back. Our own heuristic model — not an official Shopify score — and it finds real gaps.
Full PDF report to your inbox — no credit card, no sales call.
The report
Four scores. Specific findings. Exact fixes.
Here’s the shape of what you get — on a fictional store, so the numbers are illustrative. Yours come from your live endpoints, land in your inbox with a PDF, and stay saved at a permanent private link.

- critical
Variants collapse into single strings (“M / Slate / Cotton”) — agents can’t answer size questions.
Fix: Enrich the feed with structured size, color, and material fields on every variant.
Real reports score your live endpoints — every finding is replayable.
The system
Agentic storefront infrastructure, without the jargon tax.
Five capabilities, each explained twice — once precisely, once in plain terms. Built the same whether you run one store or a Plus portfolio.
MCP server configuration & verification
The endpoint agents call gets set up correctly — then proven with replayable live queries.
In plain terms: it's your store's phone line for AI shoppers. We make sure it picks up, answers every question, and we show you the call transcripts.
AI product feed enrichment
Every variant becomes structured data models can parse — size, color, material, fit, compatibility.
In plain terms: “M / Slate / Cotton” means nothing to an agent. size: M, color: slate, material: cotton answers a real shopper question.
Knowledge Base deployment
Your policies and the twenty questions shoppers actually ask, in a shape agents can quote verbatim.
In plain terms: when someone asks ChatGPT “what's their return window?”, your store answers in one sentence instead of losing the sale to a store that can.
AI-channel monitoring
Monthly re-scores, drift alerts, and competitor tracking — agents re-crawl and catalogs rot.
In plain terms: a configured store in March can be a skipped store by June. Monitoring is how you find out before your revenue does.
Post-purchase retention automation
Abandoned-cart recovery, win-backs, review requests, and upsells — AI-written, email and SMS.
In plain terms: the same care that wins the first order keeps the second one from going to whoever the agent suggests next month. (Elite plan.)
The process
Five steps, each with evidence.
01
Audit
Live queries against your MCP endpoint, catalog, and schema. A scored report with the exact failures — yours free, whether or not you hire us.
02
Configure
Endpoint fixed and verified, feed enriched variant by variant, Knowledge Base built from your real policies.
03
Deploy
Changes land through Shopify's own flows — collaborator access, never passwords, nothing you can't see.
04
Verify
We replay the audit's own queries against the configured store and hand you the before/after, query by query.
05
Monitor
Monthly re-scores, refreshes, and competitor tracking keep the score real as agents and catalogs change.
The evidence
You can check our work. That’s the point.

Fifteen minutes, walking through your audit.
Run the audit first if you can — the call is better with your real scores on screen. We’ll go through what agents see on your store, which findings matter, and whether any plan is actually the right move. No deck, no pressure, ends on time.

Questions
Asked before, answered straight.
What exactly do I get, and how fast?
A configured MCP endpoint, an enriched product feed, JSON-LD schema, and a deployed Knowledge Base — delivered within 5–7 business days of collaborator access, with a verification report showing every query before and after. Growth and Elite add the monthly monitoring and retention work on top.
What access do you need?
Shopify collaborator access through Shopify's own request flow — you approve it in your admin, you can revoke it anytime, and we never ask for a password.
Is my store's data safe?
We read your public endpoints and your catalog through Shopify's standard access. Client credentials are encrypted at rest, we don't sell data, and the privacy policy is written in actual English.
How does pricing work?
Starter is $500 one-time. Growth is $550 at signup ($300 setup + first month), then $250/mo. Elite is $900 at signup, then $600/mo. Every checkout page itemizes the charge before you pay.
What if I want changes after delivery?
Every plan includes two consolidated revision rounds after initial delivery, limited to the agreed project scope. Consolidated means each round is one batched list of requested changes — collect everything you'd like adjusted and send it together, and we work through the batch. Revisions refine what was delivered; they don't add net-new scope, and they aren't a guarantee of specific AI rankings, recommendations, or revenue.
Can you guarantee AI agents will recommend my store?
No — and be suspicious of anyone who says yes. Agents rank by their own changing systems. What we guarantee is the work: a store those systems can read, verify, and buy from, with replayable evidence.
Do I need to understand MCP to use this?
No. If you can approve a collaborator request and answer a few questions about your policies, that's the whole job on your side. The report explains every term it uses.
What does ongoing management look like?
Growth and Elite run monthly: re-score, refresh descriptions, onboard new products, watch competitors, and report — one readable report a month, canceled anytime from your receipt email.
Find out what the agents think of your store.
The audit is free and takes about a minute. The report is specific enough to act on with or without us.
